This is a fascinating post and I hope people read about Fr. Maxime and the reestablishment of a stylite upon this particular rocky outcrop.
As a quick note to readers of this blog: I will get to a post on Christian history in North Dakota. The last week of August I was at Dobbins Air Base for training in Active Relationship Counseling. It was great to meet other Air National Guard chaplains. More later.
