The following is a book review of a book that I plan on purchasing at some point in the near future. For full disclosure, I should note that I know the author but even so, it strikes me as a very timely and important book. I still find myself meeting a lot of Protestants who think (erroneously) that the Bible can be read abstracted from Tradition (or even without guidelines for what is valid/legitimate). Of course, when I press them a bit on this, I at least leave them thinking. I hope this book is read by Roman Catholics and Orthodox, too, of course, as being more informed about this is important for all Christians. In sum, if one wishes to be more Biblically informed about the relationship between the Bible and Tradition, one should read this.
