Well, religious freedom, a topic I’ve covered elsewhere on the blog, continues to be an item that makes the news. For those who are interested in this larger, ongoing socio-religio discussion, I link to two interesting reads.
Here is an article discussing the Russian Orthodox Church defending the wearing of a small cross around one’s neck to work (and btw, the ROC is speaking out in defense of two British women who were fired for this):

Here is a case closer to home, in Missouri. I haven’t looked into the details of this amendment, but it seems it is intended to enable prayer to occur in public spaces (as sometimes happens, like after 911):
